To update current status of “Translation of ILAC Promotional Documents,” the progress on translation of various ILAC brochures into German, Hebrew and Portuguese were reported and that they will be uploaded to the ILAC website. The Committee also discussed additional Good News Stories to be shared by JAB and TAF which will be listed on the ILAC website.
Revision of ILAC R4:03/2010 Use of the ILAC Logo and Tagline was also discussed as another important issue as it concerns how we deal with ILAC logo in the future. Other topics discussed included ILAC’s new website development, ILAC e-News, and the MCC Strategic Plan Work Items.
The delegates spend the second day discussing Joint ILAC / IAF Communication items focused on publicity activities from the viewpoints of both ILAC and IAF with topics ranging from World Accreditation Day, Joint Brochures, Documents, and Internal Communications.
The IAF CMC meeting was held on the third day with further discussion of the previous day’s topics, followed by exchanges of views on Promotion and Documents, IAF Newsletters and Bulletins, the IAF website and the CMC Strategic Plan.
Over the three days, the meetings provided delegates an opportunity to deepen real-time communication in a same time zone facilitated by traditional Kyoto cuisine and authentic cultures.
The delegates will meet again in October this year at the 2014 Joint Annual IAF-ILAC meetings to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
