IAF MD 1:2018 IAF Mandatory Document for the Audit and Certification of a Management System Operated by a Multi-Site Organization

This document is for the audit and, if appropriate, the certification of management systems of organizations with a number of sites with a single management system.

 

IAF MD 21:2018 Requirements for the Migration to ISO 45001:2018 from OHSAS 18001:2007

(Issue 1, issued on 18 January 2018; application from March 2018)

This document provides requirements for the migration from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018.

 

IAF MD 22:2018 Application of ISO/IEC 17021-1 for the Certification of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&SMS)

(Issue 1, issued on 25 January 2018; application from 25 January 2018)

This document is mandatory for the consistent application of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 for the accreditation of Certification Bodies providing certification of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&SMS).

 

IAF MD 23:2018 Control of Entities Operating on Behalf of Accredited Management Systems Certification Bodies

(Issue 1, issued on 08 May 2018; application from 08 May 2019)

This document relates to entities, performing and/or managing management system certification activities, on behalf of Certification Bodies (CBs) holding accreditation, which are not wholly or partly owned or employed by the CB.

IAF-GFSI Agreement - Endorsement of GFSI Benchmarked Schemes

This agreement will facilitate IAF endorsement of GFSI benchmarked schemes as a sub-scope of the IAF MLA in accordance with IAF PL3 and this agreement. The Agreement was signed between IAF and GFSI by Mr Xiao Jianhua, the Chairman of IAF, and Mr. Peter Freedman, the Managing Director at The Consumer Goods Forum on the 05th of April 2018.

 

Expected outcomes for accredited certification to to ISO management system standards

This joint IAF-ISO document sets out the outcomes that are to be expected as a result of accredited management systems certification. The intent is to promote a common focus throughout the entire conformity assessment chain in order to achieve these expected outcomes and thereby enhance the value and relevance of accredited certification. The document sets out a high-level overview into what an organisation should expect from the certification process, but also what it should not.

This document provides ILAC and IAF with requirements or criteria and procedures for evaluating Regional Groups for the purpose of recognition. The date for application of this document is immediate.

 

IAF/ILAC A2:01/2018 IAF/ILAC Multi-Lateral Mutual Recognition Arrangements (Arrangements): Requirements and Procedures for Evaluation of a Single Accreditation Body

This document provides ILAC and IAF with requirements and a procedure for evaluating single Accreditation Bodies for the purpose of qualifying them to sign applicable multi-lateral mutual recognition Arrangement(s). The date for application of this document is immediate.

 

IAF/ILAC A3:01/2018 IAF/ILAC Multi-Lateral Mutual Recognition Arrangements (Arrangements): Template report for the peer evaluation of an Accreditation Body based on ISO/IEC 17011:2017

This document provides a tool for the evaluation and report preparation process: (1) to allow an evaluated accreditation body (AB) to present information about how it addresses its performance; and (2) to provide a framework to present this information in an evaluation report. The application date of this document is immediate for all peer evaluations carried out on the basis of ISO/IEC 17011:2017.

 

IAF/ILAC A6:01/2018 Approval Process for IAF/ILAC A-Series Documents

This document describes the procedures to be followed in the development, approval and maintenance of IAF/ILAC A-Series documents. The date of application for this document is 15 January 2018.
