The 19th Plenary Meetings of the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC) were held at the Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel in Hong Kong, China from 16–23 June 2012 and hosted by the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS).  More than 100 participants from over 30 economies in the Asia Pacific Region attended the meetings.

Cord blood banks accredited certification

Spain is a global leader in the storage and therapeutic use of umbilical cord blood. The CAT Foundation carries out certification processes of these blood banks in collaboration with the National Transplant Organization. 

ENAC has granted the CAT Foundation accreditation for certification of umbilical cord blood banks.
